The director’s intention
I wanted to write The Queen of the night with my childhood home in mind, and the performers suggested stories and writings that evoked the feel of the traditional village where they were raised. In this performance, we critique the country reality when tradition isn’t always the best course of action and celebrate it by reenacting some love stories. An enjoyable and tearful show that was worked on with enthusiasm. Whether the viewer was raised in the countryside or not, we offer both.
Synopsis
